Press Release: The Registered Coupon Indexed Bonds of Kazatomprom were Included into The A Category of The Official List of Securities of Kazakh Stock Exchange

Today, on the 1st of April, 2002 the registered coupon indexed bonds of CJSC NAC Kazatomprom were included into the 'A' category of the official list of securities of Kazakh stock exchange (KASE) by the Exchange Council decree of March 29, 2002.

State registration of the first bond issue of CJSC NAC Kazatomprom was made by the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan on March 21, 2002. The volume of bond issue is 2300 mln tenge. The total amount of the bonds is 23 mln items with nominal value of 100 tenge. Coupon rate of interest was put as 8.5% per annum of indexed nominal cost of bond with the bond circulation of 5 years. The issue was put on the Securities State Register under the number A52 with the state identification number KZ2CKY05A523 assigned.

The returns of bond issue will be used for development of new deposits and exploitation of the existing mines of CJSC NAC Kazatomprom.
