31st of May, 2007, in Almaty city, over 100 young specialists and scientists of atomic branch of the Republic of Kazakhstan and countries of close and far abroad, have completed their study in regular “Summer School “New knowledge and Management Skills for Activity Improvement”, organized by the National Atomic Company (NAC) “Kazatomprom” with participation of Kazakhstan Nuclear University.

Press Release on Signing of Framework Agreement and Deepening of Strategic Cooperation Between Kazatomprom and CGNPC
In Beijing (People's Republic of China), Kazatomprom and China Guangdong Nuclear Power Holding Co., (CGNPC) have concluded Agreement regarding expansion and deepening of strategic cooperation, which covers process of certain nuclear fuel products by Kazatomprom for some NPPs in China and uranium resources supply from Kazatomprom to support nuclear power development in China.

Russia’s nuclear sector to be transformed into holding company
Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree on Friday on establishment of the state-run company Atomenergoprom, or the Nuclear Power Industry Complex, which will incorporate all enterprises related to this industry, from those extracting and enriching uranium to those building nuclear power plants and equipment and also those operating them.
