Volkovgeology JSC is a national proud
05.07.2011Volkovgeology (Kazatomprom’s subsidiary) became a winner in “Gold Hephaestus” National Industry Contest in nomination “Domestic Proud” where the best mining and metallurgy enterprises are selected.
Awarding of those who made significant contribution to the industry development was held on July 4, in Astana, within the framework of the 2nd International Mining & Metallurgical Congress "ASTANA MINING & METALLURGY".
The companies operating with works and services with high percentage of Kazakhstan content, manufacturing competitive products and being leaders at the internal market of the Republic of Kazakhstan were admitted to compete for the title “Domestic Proud”.
Contenders to the title “Domestic proud” were evaluated according to the following criteria: variety of professional methods (technologies) used inside the Company, engineering implementation, work efficiency and creativity, percentage of Kazakhstan content.
The winners were selected by juri consisted of the officials of relevant ministries and governmental bodies, honorary members of mining & metallurgy industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan, independent experts, industry associations.
