Capacitor Production Plant

The tantalum market is suffering structural changes caused by the effect of the "miniaturization” of tantalum, final consumption, and primary market products - capacitor materials used for the production of various electronic devices. Although the demand for electronic devices continues to grow, the quantity of tantalum used in production has been decreased with tantalum capacitors also faced with increasing competition from ceramic and aluminum capacitors and, to a lesser extent, niobium capacitors.

The world's leading companies, therefore, are expanding the range of their goods with higher reliability (such as ceramic and tantalum) capacitors which conserve, filtrate and regulate electric power in electronic devices.

Today, UMP JSC Tantalum Production is considering the possibility of the establishment of a joint enterprise for production of tantalum capacitors and is holding negotiations, with one of the leading capacitor producers, concerning construction of a plant for production of capacitors for the electronics industry, in Kazakhstan
