Kyzyltu

Kyzyltu was founded for production of copper concentrate and molybdenum commercial product. The enterprise implements its activity within the framework of a contract for the exploration of the Kyzyltu deposit of the Akmola Oblast’s Ereimentau region.

From 2006-2008 the LLP has been engaged in the following types of work:

• geological exploration;
• completion of design work and construction of power supply units;
• carrying out the construction of encircling railway around the deposit;
• the beginning of shift camp construction.

The designed capacity, of up to 2 million tonnes of ore reprocession, is expected to be reached by 2013.

Kyzyltu’s social activity is implemented within the framework of the contract stipulating annual deductions, to the amount of USD 30,000, for development and support of the social sphere of the region. Under these contract terms, Kyzyltu LLP has financed repairs to the heating systems of the Bestogai secondary school and the Baisar in cultural center as well as the purchase of furniture and equipment for the Ereimentau children’s creative work center and the Ereimentau cultural center.
