Resource Supply
Producers of capacitors and spray targets (and other producers of electronic components) have imposed, on themselves, two strict requirements, for the benefit of their suppliers:- Ensured supply of their products;
- Transparency of acquisition of raw materials. The supplier will prove the origin of raw materials from a certain source, and the quality assurance system of the supplier will guarantee a traceability of semi-finished product flow, in the production process, from raw material to finished product.
The tantalum production capacities of UMP JSC are engaged in the realization of the strategic program on provision of production capacities with tantalum-niobium feedstock.
Main program points:
- The establishment of a joint venture to obtain an optimal correlation between supply of raw materials from own sources and/or under long-term contracts, acquisition of raw materials at spot market prices under one time contracts and services on tolling treatment of raw materials;
- Creation of a raw materials inventory necessary for secured provision of manufacture of products for the electronics industry (high capacity powders and wire for tantalum capacitors, tantalum rolled products for spray targets).
Fulfillment of this program will provide a supply of raw materials from own sources and under long-term (including tolling) contracts and present an opportunity for stable acquisition of raw material from reliable suppliers on the spot market.
