Uranenergo LLP’s Founders are the joint and subsidiary enterprises of Kazatomprom: Ken Dala.KZ JSC, Kyzylkum LLP, Karatau LLP, JV BetpakDala LLP, Mining Company LLP, JV Inkai LLP, JV Appak LLP, Baiken-U and Akbastau LLP.

At present Uranenergo is engaged in the realization of a project for independent power supply to existing uranium production mines and for those under construction in western and northern parts of the South Kazakhstan Oblast of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The Company is implementing construction and operation of transformer substations, electric power distribution systems, open wire and cable lines, transfer and distribution of electric power and assembly and repair of power-generating equipment. Services for electric power transfer and distribution for the needs of the uranium mining complex, located in the Kyzylorda region and the South KazakhstanOblast of the Republic of Kazakhstan, have been rendered since October 2008.

As from January 1, 2008 the structure of Uranenergo includes two subsidiary enterprises - Taukent-Energoservis LLP and Shieli-Energoservis LLP – the functions of which cover heat- water- energy supply and water disposal for people living in the Taukent and Kyzemshek settlements in south Kazakhstan and the Shieli settlement in the Kyzylorda region.
