International Uranium Enrichment Center Joint Stock Company was founded on September 5, 2007.

Founders: Rosatom State Corporation, NAC Kazatomprom JSC, Nuclear Fuel State Concern and Armenian Nuclear Power Plant CJSC.

IUEC JSC is the international center for providing nuclear fuel cycle services, including enrichment under IAEA supervision on the basis of non-discriminatory access.

The main task of IUEC JSC is to provide guaranteed uranium enrichment services to its shareholders at the expense of guaranteed access to the separated and sublimate capacities of all Russian companies.

A nuclear fuel bank was established under IUEC JSC to provide for a low enriched uranium reserve for guaranteed deliveries to other countries on the IAEA's request.

Ulba Metallurgical Plant JSC has been a part of NAC Kazatomprom JSC since 1997.

Sole shareholder: NAC Kazatomprom JSC.

The starting point of the history of Ulba Metallurgical Plant was the day of extracting the first product - thorium oxalate, on October 29, 1949.

UMP JSC is one of the world leaders in the production of uranium dioxide fuel pellets for nuclear power plants and products containing beryllium, tantalum and niobium for the needs of nuclear power, electronics, aerospace, metallurgy and other fields of activity.

A distinctive feature of production activity of UMP JSC is a minimal impact on the environment. Instrumentation of the main technological processes allows for a maximal extraction of the basic components: uranium, beryllium, tantalum, niobium, and the maximal limit for them to get into the environment.

According to the Resolution of the Economic Court of Kiev dated 22.06.2022, Joint Ukrainian-Kazakh-Russian Enterprise Private Joint Stock Company Private Joint Stock Company for the Production of Nuclear Fuel (JV UKRTVS JSC) was declared bankrupt, the liquidation procedure was initiated, the liquidator appointed the Arbitration Manager, Tatyana Anatolyevna Kozachenko.

Uranium Enrichment Center JSC was founded on October 12, 2006.

Shareholders: NAC Kazatomprom JSC and TVEL JSC.

UEC JSC is a shareholder of the largest Russian separation enterprise - Ural Integrated Electrochemical Plant from 27 September 2013.

NAC Kazatomprom JSC has access to uranium enrichment services in the amount of up to 2.5 million SWU (separative work unit) per year through UEC JSC

«SSAP» limited liability partnership was founded on July 24, 2008.

Stakeholders: NAC Kazatomprom JSC and «Samruk-Kazyna Ondey» LLP.

The main manufactured product is the technical sulfuric acid, which is the main reagent in the uranium mining in-situ leaching technology.

Stakeholders: NAC Kazatomprom JSC, Karatau LLP, RU-6 LLP, Kazatomprom-SaUran LLP.

The main activity of «KAP Logistics» LLP is the logistical and transport support for group of companies NAC Kazatomprom JSC, activities on construction, reconstruction, repair and operation of roads, toll traffic on public roads (sections) of international and republican values, as well as their routine repair and maintenance.

KAP Technology Limited Liability Partnership was established on June 30, 2006 based on communication departments of the mining administrations and NAC Kazatomprom JSC.

Sole Stakeholder: NAC Kazatomprom JSC.

The main activity of KAP Technology LLP is provision Kazatomprom’s enterprises with local and corporate telephone communication, data transmission and VHF radio communication.

KAP Technology LLP has five communication offices located in the villages of Taukent, Kyzemshek, Shiely and the cities of Astana and Almaty. Each liaison office has at its disposal the node equipment required to organize communication channels between itself and other operators in the public telecommunications system, which allows to provide ample opportunities on communication and exchanging the information for workers living in accommodation camps.

Volkovgeology Joint Stock Company has been a part of Kazatomprom since 1997.

Shareholders: NAC Kazatomprom JSC and UMP JSC.

Volkovgeology JSC is a successor of Volkov Geological Exploration Expedition in all the areas of production activities, established on January 1, 1948, in accordance with the Order of the USSR Minister of Geology, with the responsibilities for searching and prospecting uranium ores in the territory of Kazakhstan.

The main activity of the company is geological prospecting and exploration, which is a complex of geophysical research on mineral deposits, drilling and construction of exploration, hydrogeological, development and production wells, process wells, laboratory and analytical studies in the geological industry, including those using precursors.

Volkovgeology JSC provides geological support for all activities of NAC Kazatomprom JSC - from prospecting, exploration of uranium deposits to their commissioning in industrial operation, conducts process drilling for mining, and development works at uranium mining enterprises of the company.

SKZ-U Limited Liability Partnership was founded in August, 2007.

Stakeholders: NAC Kazatomprom JSC, SAP-Japan Corporation and UrAsia London Limited.

SKZ-U LLP is the operator of a sulfuric acid plant in Zhanakorgan district of Kyzylorda region. The plant was built in 2011 to ensure the uranium industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan with sulfuric acid, which is the main reagent in the in-situ leaching technology.

The technology of sulfuric acid production of SKZ-U LLP is modern and efficient – the transition of raw material to the target product is almost 99.9%. The technology is safe for the environment.

Trading Company      

TH Kazakatom AG - was established in 2016. It is a wholly owned subsidiary of Kazatomprom. Based at the heart of Europe in the canton of Zug in Switzerland, it covers the global uranium markets with an innovative, flexible and Best Practice approach.

«Qorgan-Security» LLP performs the following security activities:

1.Protecting life, health and property of individuals, as well as property of legal entities from security incidents (security services).

2. Protecting life and health of personnel and property, also during its transportation;

The Partnership performs security activities exclusively for National Atomic Company Kazatomprom Joint Stock Company and its affiliated legal entities.

Uranenergo LLP was founded on October 19, 2006.

Stakeholders: NAC Kazatomprom JSC, Kyzylkum LLP, Karatau LLP, JV "SMCC" LLP, JV Inkai LLP, Appak LLP, Baiken-U LLP, Akbastau JSC, PE Ortalyk LLP.

The main activities of Uranenergo LLP are the transmission and distribution of electricity, operation of electrical grids and substations. The company was established to ensure reliable and uninterrupted power supply to uranium mining enterprises of NAC Kazatomprom JSC.

Institute of High Technologies LLP was established on February 5, 2002.

Sole Stakeholder: NAC Kazatomprom JSC.

Institute of High Technologies LLP was created to solve strategic tasks in the nuclear industry of Kazakhstan on innovative development, technological renewal of the industry, fundamental improvement in the quality and competitiveness of the high-tech products, R&D and design work with the following implementation in the industry and personnel training and retraining.
