Mr. Yussupov manages operations of NAC Kazatomprom JSC (the “Company”), leads the Management Board of the Company, forms the development strategy, determines the prospects and directions of international cooperation and the personnel policy of Kazatomprom. He coordinates and controls the activities of chief officers and managing directors. Mr. Yussupov represents the interests of the Company in state, law enforcement, judicial authorities of the Republic of Kazakhstan and international organizations on all issues of the Company’s operations.

In 2001, he graduated from MIDDLE EAST TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY with a degree in Economics and Management. In 2007, he graduated from the London School of Economics and Political Science with a master's degree in economic development management, and in 2015 from Harvard University with a master's degree in public administration.
He began his career in 2001 as Deputy Director for Marketing and Internal Audit Department in Turkuaz Group of Companies.
From 2003 to 2009, he worked at Demir Kazakhstan Bank JSC and Samruk-Kazyna Sovereign Wealth Fund JSC. From 2009 to 2010, Mr. Yussupov worked as deputy director for investment policy at the RoK Ministry of Economy and Budget Planning.
In 2010, he joined Kazatomprom as Corporate Finance and Treasury Director, and in 2015, he was appointed to the position of Chief Financial Officer of Kazatomprom.
From 2020 to 2021, he held the position of the RoK Vice Minister of the National Economy, and from March 2021 to October 2023, he held the position of the CEO of NC KAZAKH INVEST JSC.
On October 2, 2023, he was appointed the Chief Executive Officer of NAC Kazatomprom JSC.
Mr. Yussupov does not have any joint appointments.

In accordance with the main priorities of the business development strategy and taking into account the requirements of the market, he manages the financial activities of NAC Kazatomprom JSC and its subsidiaries and affiliates, is responsible for forming investment policy, managing the investment portfolio to maintain the financial stability of the Company, maximizing profits and achieving the target values of strategic indicators, supervises projects to improve and optimize work of the financial unit, provides the necessary financial resources to the departments, provides the Management Board, the Board of Directors, government agencies, investors and other parties concerned, complete, reliable, high-quality financial and management information on all aspects of the Company's activities. He carries out cross-functional coordination of Kazatomprom’s production block and the strategy and international development block.

In 2003, he graduated from the Eurasian National University with a degree in Finance and Credit, a master's degree in Finance and Economics was awarded in 2007 at the University of East Anglia (Great Britain), and master's degree in Mining Management was awarded in 2018 at the Moscow State Institute of Steel and Alloys as well.
He started his career in 2004 in the civil service in the Department of Energy and Utilities of the Akimat of Astana. From 2007 to 2009, he worked in Kazyna Sustainable Development Fund JSC and Sovereign Wealth Fund Samruk-Kazyna JSC. In the period from 2009 to 2019, he worked in NAC Kazatomprom JSC as the Corporate Secretary, Corporate Governance Director, Economics and Planning Director. In the period from 2019 to 2020, he held the position of Deputy Chair of the Management Board for finance of the State Corporation Government for Citizens NJSC. After that, he worked as Deputy Chair of the Management Board of Kazakhstan Investment Development Fund MC. Since April 2023 until August 2024, he held the position of Chair of the Management Board of Kazakhstan Investment Development Fund MC.
From August 2024 until December 2024, he held the position of Chief Financial Officer of NAC Kazatomprom JSC.
Since 30 September 2024, he has been a member of Kazatomprom Management Board.

His career in the nuclear industry began in 2011 with the position of an engineer of material and technical support of the branch of the Trade and Transport Company Kazatomonerkasip Zholdary LLP. In the period from 2018 to 2022, he worked as the General Director of KAP Logistics LLP (formerly Trade and Transport Company LLP), since December 2022 - the General director of JV Akbastau JSC.
In June 2023, he was appointed as the Chief Operations Officer of NAC Kazatomprom JSC.

From 2019 to 2020, he worked as the Deputy CEO at the subsidiary mining enterprise of National Atomic Company Kazatomprom JSC - JV KATCO JSC.
In July 2021, he was appointed as the Director of the Sales Department of NAC Kazatomprom JSC. In June 2023, he was appointed as the Chief Commercial Officer of NAC Kazatomprom JSC. Since 29 June 2023, he has been a member of the Management Board of NAC Kazatomprom JSC.
