“Kazatomprom” NAC” JSC and “National Nuclear Center” RSE signed the Agreement on Scientific and Technological Cooperation.
In order to develop nuclear energy and technologies in the country, “Kazatomprom” NAC” JSC and “National Nuclear Center” RSE signed the Agreement on Scientific and Technological Cooperation.
The document was signed by the chairman of the Management Board of the National Atomic Company Askar Zhumagaliyev and the General Director of NNC Erlan Batyrbekov.
Within the Agreement, the parties plan to cooperate on the issues of development of the regulatory legal basis of the nuclear field, research in the field of nuclear science and technologies, non-proliferation of nuclear and radioactive materials, ensuring radiation security of the population and staff.
The document also provides cooperation on staff training in the field of nuclear energy, the exchange of information, the creation of new experimental facilities, performance and implementation of joint research programs, introduction of new innovative technologies in the field of nuclear fuel cycle.
