JSC “National Atomic Company “Kazatomprom” JSC (hereinafter – Kazatomprom or the Company) reports that on February 18, 2019, the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors decided to approve Azamat Konratbayev as an audit partner till the completion of the independent audit of the Company's financial statement for the year of 2019, subject to the adoption of a positive decision by the Board of Directors of Kazatomprom on approval of an updated Policy of NAC Kazatomprom JSC on engagement of audit firms. On February 19, 2019 a meeting of the Board of Directors of Kazatomprom was held where the Policy on engagement of audit firms was approved (hereinafter – the Policy). The updated Policy has been amended in terms of the rotation of the audit partner, providing for after five consecutive years the possibility of extending the period of position for additional two years so that the audit partner spends on this position no more than seven years in total. Changes are made to ensure the quality of the audit and the degree of flexibility on the issue of rotation period.
