As part of the national environmental campaign “Taza Kazakhstan”, Company employees planted over 250 tree seedlings, cleaned more than 25 local areas, and collected around 9.5 tons of waste across the Company’s regions of operation.

Preserving local fauna:
Also within the “Taza Kazakhstan” campaign, the Young Professionals Council of Kazatomprom-SaUran LLP released over 5,000 trout into Lake Taukent, their natural habitat, grown at a local fish nursery. The springtime fish stocking ensured excellent adaptation and survival rates. The main goal of the initiative was to improve the lake’s ecosystem — one of Taukent’s natural landmarks. The effort not only enriched local biodiversity but also contributed to the lake’s environmental health. Employees, local officials, and industry veterans all took part in the event.

Members of the Young Professionals Council carried out finishing and maintenance work at the “Victory Day” memorial in Taukent, helping preserve the monument for future generations.
