Kazatomprom signs contract with Dioxitek

JSC National Atomic Company “Kazatomprom” (“Kazatomprom”, “KAP” or “the Company”) announces that it has entered into a definitive commercial agreement for the supply of natural uranium (“the Agreement”) with Dioxitek S.A. (Dioxitek) of Argentina.

In February 2020, Kazatomprom was successful in winning Dioxitek’s public tender to supply natural uranium concentrate for the needs of the Argentinian nuclear power industry. This agreement emphasizes the geographic diversity of the Company’s contract portfolio, and strengthens the Company’s presence in South America. It also marks the renewal of cooperation between the Republic of Kazakhstan and Argentina, and it is indicative of the Company’s strong reputation as the supplier of choice to the global nuclear fuel market.
