Kazatomprom’s 10 offices have moved from Almaty to uranium-mining regions 

Ten subsidiary and affiliated organizations of Kazatomprom have moved from Almaty to uranium-mining regions – Kyzylorda and South-Kazakhstan regions.
During the working trip to Kyzylorda region the CEO of NAC Kazatomprom JSC Askar Zhumagaliyev noted that relocation of offices to the regions of operations is carried out under the instruction of the Head of the State and within the framework of Transformation Program, and is supposed to enhance monitoring of production process, improve economic performances of production enterprises and facilitate regions development. 
Six and four production companies relocated their offices to Shymkent and Kyzyorda, respectively. The companies’ top management created favorable conditions for the employees and their families to work and live in the southern regions. Such measures made it possible to save the companies’ skilled personnel.
During the meeting with the Akim of Kyzylorda region Krymbek Kusherbayev, Askar Zhumagaliyev thanked the head of the region for assistance in relocation arrangement.  
The relocation is supposed to favorably influence social and economic development of uranium-mining regions. This means new productions and new working places, additional income to the local budget and etc. Besides, Kazatomprom is expected to see its operating efficiency improvement and minimizing of administrative expenses of its mining enterprises.
