Sovereign Wealth Fund Samruk-Kazyna JSC summed up the results of the “Uzdik Maman” (“Best Employee”) competition among specialists from the Fund’s group of companies.
The competition took place from July 17 to October 16 and included several stages: collecting ideas, defending projects, semi-finals, and finals. The awards ceremony for the winners of the competition was held with the participation of the CEO of the Fund.
“Uzdik Maman” (“Best Employee”) provides an excellent opportunity for self-realization, exchange of experience and knowledge, friendships and informal communication. As part of the competition, participants could demonstrate their mastery and skills, reveal their creative potential and prove that they are capable of solving complex professional problems. Therefore, regardless of the final of the competition, all participants in this competition are winners,” Nurlan Zhakupov, Samruk-Kazyna CEO, said.
The two employees of Kazatomprom subsidiaries - Ruslan Beisbayev, Inkai’s deputy chief power engineer of the energy and mechanics department and Ivan Sinelnikov, Karatau’s process engineer of the automated control system service, won the competition in the super final.
“I would like to thank the management of Samruk-Kazyna and Kazatomprom for the opportunity to express myself and implement my ideas into projects that benefit both production and our country. Such competitions and victory in them stimulate us to create innovative projects, opening up new opportunities”, said Ruslan Beisbayev, who presented the project “Automated electricity metering to optimize energy-efficient consumption of CO2 emissions”.
The best 15 projects aimed at improving production processes were also awarded. Ivan Sinelnikov successfully defended the project “Improving the process of stepwise denitrification of desorption resin at a product solution processing plant at the Karatau mining and processing enterprise” and took first place in the special project “Zharkyn Zhoba” (“Bright Project”).
“For me, winning the nomination was a big surprise. I am happy that our project was appreciated. This is a pleasant recognition of our efforts and motivation for further development”, he noted.
The purpose of the competition was to support and develop initiatives in the field of project management, as well as increase the significance and prestige of trade jobs.
The “Best Employee” competition attracted many talented employees who were ready to contribute to the development of production and the creation of socially significant projects.
All winners received honorary diplomas and were awarded money prizes.
