The Opening ceremony of the XV Spartakiad of “NAC “Kazatomprom” JSC took place in Almaty today. 21 teams representing Holding’s departments and subsidiaries and affiliates participated in a solemn ceremony.
Participants and guests of the competition were welcomed by complimentary telegram from Kazatomprom CEO, Askar Zhumagaliyev.

More than 800 employees of Kazatomprom from Astana, Almaty, Kyzylordinskaya, South-Kazakhstan, Mangystauskaya, Akmolinskaya, East-Kazakhstan and Almatinskaya oblasts will participate in Spartakiade from 17th to 20th of August. The strongest athletes from nuclear industry enterprises will compete on the sport arenas for the title of the best ones. Competitions will be held in 9 kinds of sports: badminton, mini-football, track and field, volleyball, basketball, chess, blitz-chess, billiards, table tennis.
