Semizbay-U LLP continues to systematically implement its corporate social responsibility policy. Our mission is not only to achieve economic goals, but also to actively participate in the development of society, support socially vulnerable groups of the population and the regions of our presence. Caring for people is an integral part of our sustainable development strategy.
In the first half of 2025, the company implemented a number of important initiatives.
Social support and charity
- Targeted assistance. We provided targeted support to large families, the elderly, children with disabilities and other representatives of the socially vulnerable groups of the population in Aqmola, North Kazakhstan and Kyzylorda regions.
- Festive events. We organized charity dinners and holidays for Nauryz and Kurban Ait. We also congratulated women veterans of labor and mothers of many children, as well as the mentees of Sharapat Center in honor of International Women's Day.
- Memory and respect. On the eve of Victory Day, we honored home front workers.
- Employees — volunteers. Our employees actively participated in the Charity Samruk Marathon and the Donor Day campaign, demonstrating their personal commitment to the principles of corporate social responsibility.
- Caring for children. On Children's Day, events were held and gifts were presented to the pupils of Center for Special Social Services State Institution in Kokshetau and Nurly Zhurek Center in Astana.
Education and development
It is important for us to create equal opportunities for everyone. We organized training and provided support to children from the socially vulnerable groups of the population. As part of this initiative, Center for Special Social Services State Institution in Kokshetau received modern equipment, including an interactive whiteboard and a TV, which significantly increased the availability of quality education.
Environmental responsibility
Our commitment to sustainable development is also reflected in caring for the environment.
- We actively participated in the republican initiative Taza Kazakhstan (“Clean Kazakhstan”), organizing clean-up days and environmental campaigns.
- The Kazatomprom Alley was opened at the Irkol mine, where we planted 1,122 tree seedlings.
- Our employees organized volunteer campaigns to improve the territories of social institutions in Astana - Nurly Zhurek Center and the Center for Supporting Children in Difficult Life Situations.
The total amount of expenses on social and charitable projects in the first half of 2025 amounted to KZT 16,791,050. These funds are our investment in the well-being of society and a sustainable future.
